Diocese Of Memphis Catholic Schools
Understand what we're all about...
Catholic Schools of Memphis unites schools across West Tennessee around academic excellence, Christ-centered formation, and a shared commitment to helping students grow in faith, character, and purpose.
A Catholic education rooted in faith, learning, and community.
For generations, Catholic schools across West Tennessee have helped students grow into thoughtful, capable, and compassionate leaders. Our schools are united by a shared mission: to form the whole child through strong academics, spiritual formation, moral development, service, and a deep sense of belonging.
Each school community has its own story, personality, and traditions. Some are diocesan schools, some are parish schools, and others are private Catholic schools or Catholic preschool programs. Together, they offer families a network of educational options shaped by Catholic values and a commitment to helping students discover and use their God-given gifts.
Why Catholic education?
More than a school - A foundation for life.
Catholic education is designed to shape more than what students know. It helps form who they become. Across our schools, students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and morally in communities where faith and learning work together.
Faith & Character
Students are formed in a Christ-centered environment where prayer, worship, service, and Gospel values help shape daily school life.
Academic Excellence
Our schools challenge students to think critically, work diligently, and build the knowledge and confidence they need for the future.
Community & Belonging
Catholic schools partner with families and create communities where students are known, supported, and encouraged to grow.
Purpose & Service
Students are invited to discover their gifts and use them in service to others, preparing them to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
